My Favorite Book

I don’t really like to read books. I do believe that they help you with your education, but it’s just not my thing to do. I have read about 10 books in my lifetime and I have to say my favorite book has to be “Through My Eyes” by Nathan Whitaker. This book is about Tim Tebow’s struggles with transferring from playing college quarterback to being a pro NFL quarterback. Tim Tebow deals with many critics in his life. They said that they don’t think he has what it takes to be an NFL quarterback and his mechanics are very terrible. He has too long of a release in his throw and he is very inaccurate. Well if you don’t know Tim Tebow already he is a very driven person. He always tries to prove his critics wrong. Ever since the senior bowl game he has worked on his mechanics as a quarterback. He had to work on putting his arm up higher and get a faster release. When he was in college he would look like he would wind up and throw it. He worked 30 straight days on it and it improved a lot. He worked out from 7 in the morning to 8 at night. He would work out like an animal whenever he did. This one workout he did was that he pushed a SUV down this road for a couple miles all by himself. You can tell he loved football so much. His desire to prove his critics wrong was incredible. In the 2010 NFL Draft he was either going to go to the Bills, Broncos, or Miami. Well with Tebow still on the board, the Broncos moved up in the draft and snagged him with the 26th pick. Tebow was happy but he knew he still had a lot to prove as a quarterback. Once he got drafted he still worked on his mechanics and just got better and better. Now Tebow is the starting quarterback for the broncos and he has a 5-1 record as a starter.
